Medieval Feasts Acrostic

Many poor people would wait outside the kitchen and beg for food.
Europe had many poor people and not as many nobles therefore there weren’t as many feasts.
During feasts lots of alcohol was drunken
It took hours to prepare feasts.
European chefs were very important in the making of feasts.
Veggies and eggs were usually the extent of what peasants ate.
At the table is where grace was performed before dinner.
Leftovers were given to peasants.

Feasts had large pieces of stale bread used instead of plates.
Europe did not have a lot of spices so it was expensive.
After dinner, porridge was also given to beggars.
Stories would be told at feasts.
There were many servants involved in making or feasts.
Soups were prepared for the beggars that waited outside.
